On the first Saturday in November, thousands of people will gather at Learn to Homebrew Day sites worldwide to brew beer and learn about the hobby of homebrewing.

In 1999, Learn To Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers Association to promote the most rewarding, and delicious activity of all time — homebrewing.

Learn to Homebrew Day will be Saturday, November 1st, 2025.

This year we’ll be brewing at Abita New Orleans, located at 2375 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans.

The brewers will be getting started at 11 AM. We will have a demonstration of all grain brewing on our two barrel system, as well as demonstrations of brewing with extract and making a wine!

Hogs for the Cause team Hogdigitty will be serving up BBQ creations starting at 4 PM.
