The May meetup will be this Saturday, May 30th at 11 am. We’ll be meeting at the Riverwalk Gazebo to check out the tall ships that will be on the river as part of Sail250. This is a BYOB event, so feel free to bring some homebrew to share. Please remember that glass containers are not allowed in the park. There are also a number of local purvayers if you’d prefer to sample their wares.
New Orleans is the first stop for the ships of the Sail250, a special program celebrating the semiquincentennial. The ships will be in town from May 28th until June 1st, offering tours and other programs. There will be a fireworks show at 9 PM on Saturday. Ship tours are free. More information can be found here.
Also coming up is the CCH Crawfish boil on June 6th, and the Brewery Bus Tour on July 25th.
